Kon Mari is a Japenese method of decluttering and organization that was brought to America by the great Mari Kondo.

It is much more than tidying up it is a philosphy and way of life.

The book that started it all

The basic idea is you gather all of your possesions, one type at a time, and one by one, hold each item and ask yourself if the item "sparks joy"

Then you learn folding techniques to better store and display items.

For the items that do not spark joy, you thank it for it's service and let it go.

Bonus: I am also a handyman, so if a display case or shelves are needed I can also help with that!

What seperates the Kon Mari method from other decluttering techniques?

Effectivness and Sustainablity.

Slowing down and activating that inner feeling of "sparking joy" can also be applied to shopping for new items, this means no more decluttering again and again, season after season, instead, you invest now and stay mindful of how things effect you.

An increase in overall concouisuness.

Pathological consumerism is hurting our planet and filling voids in our life such as isolation with material possessions. Creating a space where you are incontrol of your things, instead things controlling you has a much more a perfound feeling.

Here it is in action

Finding matches, SOOO many socks!

Customize the display to your preference. Color, type, season..

So many that we had to stack them upright. Thankfully the draw was deep enough. To the left are unmatched socks and slippers that will be stored elsewhere.
